I created some new enemy models (the spider is not yet rigged). The two on the right are Spawners for the Spider and the Disc from an earlier post respectively.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-311\" href=\"http:\/\/piflik.de\/?attachment_id=311\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-311\" title=\"Enemies_2\" src=\"http:\/\/piflik.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Enemies_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"583\" height=\"381\" srcset=\"http:\/\/piflik.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Enemies_2.jpg 583w, http:\/\/piflik.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Enemies_2-300x196.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 583px) 100vw, 583px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also I created some buildings, for decoration and mainly to allow me to create different levels. They block all kinds of projectiles, the fence is destructible.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-312\" href=\"http:\/\/piflik.de\/?attachment_id=312\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-312\" title=\"Buildings\" src=\"http:\/\/piflik.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Buildings.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"http:\/\/piflik.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Buildings.jpg 800w, http:\/\/piflik.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Buildings-300x187.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lastly I also delved into scripting again. The buildings have their own behavior to control the blocking of projectiles and actors, as well as their destruction. Additionally I added a simple calculation to the enemies&#8217; and other placeable objects&#8217; scripts to make them find the closest tile to their world-position on start, so I can now place them directly in the Unity viewport instead of having to manually determine the tile number I want them to start on. Makes level-design easier. Having to dial in every tile by hand would have put me off level-designing entirely, to be honest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After a too long absence, I started working on my game again.
